Default Sigma M30 signal / fob booster for 99MY Impreza !?

My car has the blue fob immobiliser from the 2 years when the remote signal gets obliterated if you are near a phone mast or emergency services signal.
I could manage using the keypad now and again once I found the pin

I have two problems now:-
1) I've moved house to where there is a mast so the fob never works at home.
2) Changed the fob batteries and it's now hit and miss when using the keypad - the alarm keeps sounding and fobs not working anywhere.
Can't reset fobs at home as signal immediately drowned out. Thinking of driving a few miles away if it will start !

SO !

Has anyone been there and done it on either getting a 'signal booster' fitted (did Subaru do a part years ago?) Or getting the m30 replaced?I

It's stopping me from enjoying the car...

its not a signal booster you need

https://www.scoobynet.com/301957-my0...e-masts-2.html

whether or not you can even get the SACC 3465 module anymore you might be left with ripping out & replacing the alarm system. which isnt really a big job as yours is not linked to ECU

I have the newer Sigma alarm system fitted to two of mine , they have both been very reliable and easy to fit , it will be the same connections you have from one cat 1 to another cat 1, so very straight forward , my third Fsti i took the older cat 1 off on broken fsti and refitted it , which was very straight forward , only issue was the central locking wiring was different from an 05 to an 07 Fsti 👍

Remember getting a full a alarm system fitted by local auto electrician for few hundred. Contacted someone few days ago prices start from £500-£1000 plus removing your old alarm system is extra.

Apparently Subaru UK do an upgrade kit from the old Sigma M series alarms to the current S series.

Would you have anything on that? I did contact my dealer about whether (a long shot) the Upgraded Sigma ECU was available SaCc3465/56, but they didn't mention a general upgrade option.

This post from Rob84........

BUT having done a new i search I found and read your original thread below from September 2014, the "upgrade" he mentions above was probably for the revised M30 model mentioned in your thread.
https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...sigma-ecu.html
Surprised you didn't upgrade it back then.

However there is this (SmithysSTI another Subaru tech)

Maybe worth speaking to a Scorpion Automotive/Toad installer.
