First TM night for the Evo, in fact first trackday, totally awesome. Only a few cars out to play tonight which gave plenty of trackspace.

Hats off to the two confirmed nutters tonight Sam and Alan (Pob). Whilst I took Sam up on the offer of demonstrating his new discs to me and realising that once the doors were locked, I was not getting out Bloody awesome machine, I didn't know if I was going to puke or fill ma kecks. Needless to say I told Pob to firk aff, racing slicks, AP's and the mentality of hannibal Lectur..no thanks mate.

Unfortunate incident to T-uk, hope its all better soom mate, like you say sometimes luck just takes a T-break.

Anyway i'm a confirmed trackday wannabee now, so time for new brakes to stop the bugga'

...John

i am still getting to grips with the car and there is more to come considering it is totally standard apart form the exhaust.

i hope you were ok with me shouting stuff like" keep your foot down" the chicane is just a right hander etc....

i have managed to get to the pertrol station at kenross and to my shock it took 46.5l of super my tank is only 48l !!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is the most to running out of fuel i have ever been in my life

not really andy

i have removed the dawes controller when i fitted my downpipe. i peaking higher in the mid range so hte car feels nicer but not holding as much as with the dawe at the top end so it probably not as powerful at the straight lines. i was still pulling 120mph at the straight which is higher than i was last time. maybe because i had brakes this time

i have spent 2hours fitting a induction kit to remove 10min later as i was getting fuel cut

why did you not come over mate

I have to agree with evojkp, once the doors are lock in Sam's car there's no getting out. Oh that's until you have had 20 none stop laps , leaving finger nail marks in the seats and requiring a new set of underwear.

T-uk, I was enjoying all that sideways action early on. Sorry it had to come to an end. Hope you didn't cry for too long.

Pob the lend of the trolley jack was no bother. These are the sort of tools you have to carry driving an Italian car.

Cheers boys for the hot motoring action, certainly better that the last gp.

Fabulous night. I was surprised to get 8 mpg and get fuel surge coming out of the hairpin on the last two sessions of the night, but I did do a lot of laps

I thought after ten laps you were slowing down to come in. That's until you said I'm slowing down to have a bit race with that Exige. Great fun really enjoyed it and cheers to all the guys that took me out.

The Alfa might make it on the track next time, somehow I don't think I will get it to oversteer as bad as T-uk although he was doing well at the start.

Great night guys.

Thanks again to Neilyboy for the lend of the trolley jack, top bloke.

Evojkp, nutter.... moi? You should see me on road tyres and 2 pots Good to see the Evo out there where it belongs though, even if the brakes tainted the experience a little. Loads of space on track, agreed, but it was a little tooo quiet at times. Hope to see you all at the next one.

Forgot to mention, who was the culprit who left the empty bottle of millers on top of the SUL pump at Kinross Had to have a little chuckle when filling up on the way home.
