Throbbing ???
Hey Guy's - sorry I don't think it's gonne be that interesting, but this last week I've noticed a throb/wobble from the engine - mainly when at standstill at lights etc, it's pretty much constant then too and not noticable when moving or actually on the road moving - I know you get that rocking motion sometimes but this is def different
Something sinister like something un-balanced maybe or an engine mount thang
Any pointers would be great,
Thanks.....Si

These are for manual transmissions so may not be the same as yours but should give you an idea.
Not seen the car up for sale and I have checked their website, would be a good buy for someone.

changed all mine when i done my build to the group N sti mounts which cost a small fortune plus changed the small gearbox cradle bush to whitline one
only problem if you go uprated is you get more vibration etc.. but feels far better when you put on the gas

there are two mounts under engine and you have the dog bone looking one under the IC , you also have the gearbox mount and gearbox cradle bush which is often over looked

Just had text from Simon and it's bad news as his engine has let go on the way to work this morning. It's a rod through block type of failure as well so not good news at all. I'm sure Simon will be on line later with the details.
