TOAD Ai606 AUTOLOCK
Does anyone on here know how to disable the "Autolock" feature. The car locks its self when the ignition is switched on but I could really be doing with this feature switched off.
Thanks in advance

i am a fitter of these alarms, do you have a pin code available so i can help you ?
mick
it only autoarms once after the ignition key is turned, then it wont do it again say if you open the door to pop the boot..as a safety tip i recommend leaving the window slightly open if your leaving your car with the engine running..
it is easily removed from the alarm function, all you need is the pin code that gets given to you when the alarm is fitted, this comes on a little credit card sized card, with a silvr strip with a 4 digit code on it?
you need this to get into the programming table and then its easy
cheers

Is this the anti-hijack feature?
In the short term you can just leave your door open while you turn the ignition on and then close it. It shouldn't lock then after 8 secs.

been locked out of mine on 2 occassions now, good job i was at my home at the time, had to go back in house to get spare fob to get in car again.
if someone could post instructions on how disarm this feature, then that would be great, then no one has to disclose there own personal 4 digit code.

I have the full installation and setup manual on my desktop pc.
PM with your email and I'll send it to you tomorrow.
Depending on what way everything's wired up it might not work though as I can't change it on my 205.

allow the immobiliser to kick in then enter the pin code using the ignition key. When you get the disarm chirps, after switching the ignition off after the last digit, switch the ignition back on and press the arm button on the remote. you should get a single chirp.
switch the ignition off then back on and press the arm button again. You should get a single chirp
witch the ignition off the back on and press the arm button 4 time. the alarm should respond by an increasing number of chirps. 1 with the first press, 2 with the second press etc.... when you get the 4 chirps press both the arm and disarm buttons together.
switch off the ignition and wait for the alarm to exit programming mode. (couple of chirps)
that should be it..
