Which Alarm - Help?

Hi
Just got back from a car security place that told me that the Clifford Alarm fitted to my motor is basically falling to bits and would not keep a 3 year old out. So i'm left with finding a new alarm system that won't require a re-mortgage. Obviously CAT1 alarm and immobiliser. I've seen the Toad Ai606 advertised, is it any good or can anyone recommend an alternative.

Yeah
I did to but it has to be by the person that bought it apparently, I've just got the car second hand and didn't recieve any receipt etc for the alarm. I might be wrong but that's my understanding, anyone know different.
