Do guys with TD04L turbos at high boost - say 18 PSI as I run mine - turn down the boost for track days? What sort of intake temps would be sensible to keep it below with a TMIC? Five or ten laps make a difference?

Before I put mine on I will get inlet temp monitoring in place. I was thinking of running 17PSI, but with Dawes - the top end will be just the same. By then I should be able to control it all electronically - would you drop it down a bit from your road settings?

Thanks. Discipline and an inlet temp gauge for me to start with, along with 17 PSI midrange and a loosened actuator or adjusted EBC for me to start with them I think and some data.
