Default Newbie says Hello

Hi all , just joined today.

Looking at buying my first Subaru but could do with a few pointers .
I am looking to spend around 10k on an STI but not sure which one , The type uk maybe .

One things for sure it has to have the Subaru rumble
Do you still get that from the 2.5 models ?

Previous cars ive had are an E60 530d , Lotus 135r and my fav of them all J spec Supra RZ . ive had a few others but they were the best .

At the moment im running around in a 1.2 vauxhall combo van

welcome to the site!!!!!!!! what ever scooby you buy will have that rumble, but like most of us you want to hear that rumble a bit more(plus need more flow) so we end up changing the factory exhaust for say a blitz nur spec system which is abit much (loud)for some. if i had your budget i would be looking at a nice import sti spec.... anyway good luck with the hunt be sure to slap some pics up of your new toy to show us all.........TURBOADDICT

I had a Nur spec on my Supra , sounded awesome !
I was under the impression that import imprezas were alot quieter , something to do with unequal headers ?

Hawk eye or blob eye i just dont know what to get !

its a stunning example of a un molestered subaru sti with all the added extras and no expence spared.. i would find it really hard to walk away from that without being 10k lighter

Very nice indeed , can't make my mind up on a colour just yet but unmolested would be good . Can anyone recommend an insurance company , I'm 28 with 9 yrs no claims if that helps.
