help choosing correct methanol
hi
i'm planning to buy some methanol and am wondering if this is the correct type
it's ebay 140368832124
99.5% pure m-500
reason for my question is jennychem are wanting £25 for 25ltrs and this company are doing it for £17.75 and are local to me for collection
any help would be great don't want to buy the wrong thing

Jennychem sell it as industrial cleaner.
It is possible after a couple of orders to get substantial discounts.
However theoretically it is subject to VAT.
If you want to do away with the VAT it is possible to use IMS, although I cannot vouch for it's det resistance in the same way I can with methanol.
In my own car, a mix of 10% gave an additional 12 degrees of timing which is approximately 40-50bhp.
