camshaft position sensor needed

Default camshaft position sensor needed

for a 2001 wrx, mine is playing up really bad now, just had my engine rebuild so cant afford a new 1,
has anyone got a second hand 1??

Hi there's a few on ebay - i think the part number is 22056AA062. Or you could phone these guys. They were great when I used them for throttle sensor and idle sensor recently:-

The Bugeye WRX and the new DENSO ECU which came with it was always a bit flakey when it looked at the Camshaft position sensor. Usually throwing a CEL near the rev limiter which went out after about 5 starts. The ECU does not go in to limp mode or do anything else so performance is not affected.

Most Camshaft position sensor CELs go away after a good clean as specks of dirt can fool the sensor

Have you cleaned it and is the car running OK ?

yer the car runs fine, keep getting the light on for a missfire on all cylinders(but its not missfiring at all), think its the netarul position sensor.
and cam sensor, all the time

only since the remap tho
