So unfortunately I had a lovely Freelander hit my drivers side wing mirror on a narrow road in the Highlands..
Anyways I'm left with smashed glass but luckily the mirror cover is salvageable. I'm really struggling to get a replacement glass for it, it's a SH5 XT Jap import. Any suggestions? Best I've seen so far is the likes of the wing mirror company who make the glass based on an outline you do on a piece of paper over the mirror. UK Foresters of that era have far larger mirrors. Thanks.
That's great Don, many thanks for the quick response and info!!! Where is the best place to purchase? It would be the non heated glass I'm after. Cheers.
A breakers , or if you are looking for brand new then a local scooby dealer , could be £££ , I get a lot of my stuff from Japan amayama show them delivered for around 20 £ there won't be any import duty as less than the 135 £ cut off takes about 2 or 3 weeks

As you mentioned UK mirrors are different, so probably Japan is your only choice.
Partsouq.com - not available but Amayama.com does
If you buy OEM, it will come with the backing plate, so much easier to fit
Looking through the UK/European/Aus parts database more closely, the "140" glass is fitted in Aus and for various option packages in Europe including Ireland (Rep of)
