Default help choosing correct methanol

hi

i'm planning to buy some methanol and am wondering if this is the correct type

it's ebay 140368832124

99.5% pure m-500

reason for my question is jennychem are wanting £25 for 25ltrs and this company are doing it for £17.75 and are local to me for collection

any help would be great don't want to buy the wrong thing

The reason I recommend them is because when you need more, then at least you know it's going to be the same stuff that you bought before, rather than from someone who could be unreliable?

I have just purchased some from a local guy 205 litres for £130, seems to fine not seen any difference in knock on the apexi.

the ebay place is a company based in manchester, seems to be the same set up as jennychem so will save on carriage

thats not a bad price banny, my problem is storage as i use my garage for the flocking so space is a premium to me

JennyChem ftw Phil, it wont be a £7 difference for long and if you use their courier and let them tell you what day they are in the area then postage can be nada as well

Is this the same type of methanol just branded sunoco seems very expensive

Jennychem sell it as industrial cleaner.
It is possible after a couple of orders to get substantial discounts.
However theoretically it is subject to VAT.

If you want to do away with the VAT it is possible to use IMS, although I cannot vouch for it's det resistance in the same way I can with methanol.

In my own car, a mix of 10% gave an additional 12 degrees of timing which is approximately 40-50bhp.
