Newbie introduction
Hi All,
Thought I would quickly introduce myself.....
I am coming across from a TVR Tamora, which due to an addition to the family is no longer tenable
However the good news is that I have persuaded said Wifey to allow me to get a four door saloon - for me there was no real choice....so here I am.
I am now looking for something to replace the Tam, which will be pretty tough but hopefully with some helpful advice I may get there.
Having done some research and read through numerous articles, I have concluded (maybe still unwisely) that the 2 real options are the WR1 or a new STI PPP.
I have as yet not had a test drive in these, which is obviously the starting point for any new purchase. However any info regarding these cars or indeed if I should be looking at other variances, then please let me know.
Cheers all
G

WR1 will give you a little more oomph and hold the money better.
But i think the main decision would be:
new car vs used car
blobeye (wr1) face vs hawkeye (new) face
Me, i'd buy a Spec C (JDM - Import!) or for a few more squids over a new hawkeye, i'd get a Spec C RA.
All depends on how raw/refined you want your drive......coming from a TVR i'm guessing raw.

Thanks guys,
Gaz - Funnily enough I am actually swaying a little bit more to the refined side of things (thinking of the munchkin) - but not too much
Could you explain a bit more on the two varients in your post.
Cheers

What i meant is that whether you want a 2 year old car or a brand new one. As this sways it for some. And the second part was whether you prefer the styling of the new one, versus the previous version.
If you're after more refined, then a Spec C or similar is probably not best suited, but there's always the JDM STi. Not as raw, but a different spec to the UK equivalent. You get a rear wiper But lose the rumble
(there's more to it than that though)
