I’d say you were lucky. I had my cracked windscreen replaced 3 times in 6 weeks as they kept cocking up the installation. Bad glue, bad trim, clueless installer etc etc. I was told after the first time I’d have to pay for a replacement if when they removed the screen to check for faults and they didn’t find anything wrong (that highly amused me as they offer a lifetime warranty on their work!). Low and behold it’s was poorly fitted. It cost them in the end, I complained to the enth degree as I was sick of the messing me around and they compensated me (not something I usual do)!!

Long story short Autoglass were **** from start to finish and despite asking my insurance company twice to have a different company deal with it I had no choice but to stick with Autoglass. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I had a pretty big chip on my screen and thought i would need a new one but used a local company in the west midlands called ‘clearview windscreens’ and the guy that came out was proper sound, new his stuff and repaired it for me at my workplace. Couldn’t get through to autoglass and when i did they kept asking for my insurance details.
