Are Sierra Coswoth owners sponsored by Autoglass?
#1
After watching Police, Camera, Action the other night I noticed that at the end it has an advert for Autoglass where an innocent driver gets overtaken by a Sierra Cosworth and the car flicks up a stone that hits the other car's windscreen and cracks it - well an F reg cossie did that to me - I just wish I'd got the number plate.
He deliberately cut in just in front of me and put his foot down - sprayed me in stones.
I'm not going to say all cossie drivers are like this but all they seem to want to do is overtake you.
Mike Rainbird, with 400bhp coming from your rear wheels - a stone flying up from the car might kill someone!

Dario...
I swear to God, the same thing happened to me at the weekend.. Sierra Cosworth found it necessary to show that he was (obviously) quicker than me on the dual carriageway and flicked a bloody great stone onto my (really cheap) original windscreen. To$$er!
I think you may be right!

Dario,
I think he just wanted to make a point. Probably didn't realise you weren't trying though, and put it down as another Scooby slayed.
However, I doubt he sprayed your car with stones deliberately. It would take quite a bit of skill to see a stone in the road and drive over it, catch it with the rear wheels and then aim it perfectly at your windscreen...
But then again you do need a lot more skill to control a Cossie compared to a Scooby, so maybe he did...!
LOL

Stef,
Looking forward to Donno with the greatest of anticipation. Lost interest in Santa Pod as it is only in straight line afterall....
But hoping to beat my best time if the weather is good....
Challenge on both counts is of course on (go easy with me at Donno though) .
LOL
Mike
Dario,
You're just jealous 'cos my car is faster than yours...
Don't worry, if you get on your hands and knees and lick my shoes clean, I might let you come out in a "proper" car at Donno (but then again....)
LOL

Stef,
If you beat Rainbird at the Pod or Donnington - I'll promise I'll send you a free copy of Colin McRae 2 as soon as its out. I'm going to the pod on on the 20th to cheer you on!
Regards
Dario
Rainbird - the lots of fantastic cars have made into video games - Stratos, Intergrale, Evo, GT4 etc - but you know what? the Sierra Cosworth has never made into any - doesn't that tell you something - it's a load of crap! ha ha ha
I might suggest that in GT2000 OR GT3 that the cossie is a bonus car for failing all the Lisences ha ha ha

Stef,
Slip me a couple of quid and I'll let you win, just so you get something free off Dario! (Gotta promise to let me have a go on it as well though....).
LOL
Mike
PS. Dario, the reason the Cossie isn't in there is because that would make it boring. The cossie would kick butt at every level and there would be no point in picking any other car to play with.... (tongue firmly in cheek!)
