How misinformed you are mate...tut tut. Do you lot remember scott davies? 350 bhp type RA...well he drove my old STAGE 1 GTR (380BHP) and he said there was no diff in speed to 80. he was amazed at how they rev and the weight they pull the weight (1550 kgs)..over the 80 the GTR pulled away...probably down to the fact his RA was running out of gears....
I have a GTR now that is 450 + bhp (TBC on friday) so you can imagine that is a bit quicker!! I had a ding dong with a so called 320 bhp STI recently...no probs. I did not **** Over it as people say skylines do but it i fair to say I pulled away no probs up to 80 and once past then it was bye bye.
Now imagine what rocket ronnies would do to you...that is 700bhp plus...proven.
As a skyline owner I was appalled to read about the driving and glad you did not take the bait. no matter what the make unfortunately there are alwasy idiots out there.
I have found most scoob owners to be top guys and respect their motors and are not scoob biggotts. Same as the GTR club as many guys on there have owned scoobys before moving onwards.
