Landrover TD5 - Starter motor slow to disengage

Anyone else on here know of the problem with the starter motor
taking some time after the engine is running to disengage on the TD5. The wife's motor seems to have this problem 1 in 3 starts and it makes a weird noise. The dealer "found nothing wrong", but i have booked it in again, because they must be totally deaf, is it a known problem
