My new car

Hi Cem,
Very nice motor... but pray tell, what mods does the HKS logo on the back imply? I'm guessing that this isn't a totally standard one?
Have a lot of fun in that,
Simon.

The car looks good enough to eat and I thought your Evo looked good. I own a Scoob but still appreciate a good looking motor
Question -: What stops your head going through the rear window on take-off as it must pull a few G's LOL

Cem,
you lucky ******....
I just missed out on getting a Midnight Purple R34 Vspec....with a very expensive engine built by Hi-tec....currently running 550bhp on the current map....engine is built to take 700+ full nismo racing exhaust, HKS intercooler, HKS roller bearing turbos with external wastegates, HKS induction kit...the dogs nadgers !!!
it was sold thru the week
they wanted 42K...and it only had 4,000 miles on the clock.
Oh well....I really should wate anyway....42K cannot be spent without serious thought...
Let me know how you get on....I quite enjoy driving my buddies R33....but never had the pleasure of an R34
Ian.

Cem I really hope you made a wise decision.
As you know I get to spank Steve`s car whenever I want really and it is indeed a fantastic machine........even tho it drives itself eh
The only trouble is that the car is already an expensive commodity in UK standard spec and really needs the upgrade to make it quick enough to be fun. Indeed in standard spec it couldnt keep with my standard P1 and Steve will vouch for that. Since all upgrades
however it ****s all over my modded P1
But if you look at investment then I feel it is something that needs conciderable thought. Your looking at a £60K car in new "FUN" spec and thats Porsche money.
And even tho it has a fantastic "German" feel to the cabin it still has certain "Jap" bits that remind you where it came from .
The only other weakness is the brakes. If you do take it to the track and dont get done for noise then the brakes will need upgrading........more money.
If you want 5oo ish bhp thats another£10K plus. It flies down the fast and undulating B660 but show it a B road
and you will find that one minute you are on one side of the road and the next your on the other. They like to tramline.
I love the brutal look of it and i love the colour. Just talk to Middlehurst, get the other oil coolers and stuff fitted to the Uk **** cars and get the upgrade done and then say hello to every black flag marshall on every race track
There are quite a few tuners but I would always use Middlehurst as I work on the "you get what you pay for"
Cheers, Arron.
PS I love it mate they are the bo11ox

Thanks all, I'm grateful for the compliments. Faced with a number of cars to choose from, I ended up with the Skyline. It seems I have made the right choice, at least to me because I simply cannot get enough of this car. Very similar in purpose to the M3, yet massively different in application, the M3 felt decidedly staid after driving this. So the M3 is cancelled.
I have a HKS induction kit with a NISMO backbox and centre section. In current tune it absolutely flies, the acceleration is brutal and I still have a standard downpipe with a cat on it! Once I remove these items, I am going to have some serious fun.
Seems Becks and Ian have seen me, I was at both those places you mentioned at those times also, so yes, it was probably me. BlowDog number plate will be going on soon.
The pictures above were actually taken from my place of work in the city, so noone around on a Saturday. I parked on the Keep Clear sign on purpose
This picture was taken from my back balcony at home.

David,
Your 400BHP conversion sounded absolutely fantastic. I am considering going that route. 2 Blue Skylines cruising through N London was an amusing sight also, as you say, like buses. You wait for ages then 2 come along at once
