Default Killing my Grass

Want to lay a membrane as i will be decking out my garden..

Will this stuff do? Anyone know?

You'd be as well to lift the turf (you can hire machies to do it), put down the membrane with a layer of gravel/chips over the top to be honest.

i was trying to avoid going out getting machines

Also from reading up the membrane does kill it as no light goes in....

will the membrane in the 1st post do the job?

It will do the job but the turf will rot down underneath it. As mentioned as well it should be membrane with pea shingle over it under you decking to help with drainage.

If you're going to do a proper job I'd strip the turf first. You don't need the machine, can be done with a sharp spade and a bit of effort.

Chuck some home heating oil down on it - that'll do the trick for you

My bitch beagle kills grass like a gooden. I hate it as when we moved in the garden was lovely. Now it looks like a bomb has gone off

Just an update.. 90% of the grass died when i dug holes in the garden to make the 20 odd pillars for the decking i am putting out...

Membrane Went over... :-)

10% Bleach solution in a watering can will kill just about everything.
