Why, if you add a driver to your Insurance who is unemployed does it skyrocket? Change them to retired and it drops hugely!
Weird ...................... and probably illegal?

Retired = Elderly gentleman claiming his pension.
Not my opinion, just a generalized stereotype.

The reasoning i'm guessing is unemployed have more time to be driving around all day, hence more driving, more risk!
P.S. As you may have noticed i'm not an expert/insurance underwriter

I remember when I was getting quotes a long time ago he asked where I work, and because I said a factory, he put me as a machine operator. He said that it’ll be cheaper than 'factory worker' because factory workers are more likely to be drink drivers and drive dangerously so insurance will be higher.
So I’m guessing that unemployed people are the same.
