i have a 05 wrx I have just fitted of a bugeye sti, the sports cat and aftermarket middle section .

I didn,t like the backbox that came with it so got a scoobyworld racebox all the hangers meet but there seems to be a 2 to 3 inch gap from backbox to centre section ...

the backbox is newage only not made for classic . I have measured the newage centre section its 128cm,, classics are 136cm so evan a classic will be too long.

the backbox if I remember right had been welded to make it longer I sold it to a bugeye owner and he said it fitted lush .

so whyu am I having this issue ???????????

 

i have a classic back box on my bug without middle hanger so i dont think the problem is the back box as they are same size. not sure if after the bug the downpipe or mid section changed lengths? as a downpipe from a classic doesnt fit a bug as would be too short so maybe if yours is newer than a bug they might of made the mid or down pipe longer again?
