Didn't get tickets
Have to laugh at the posters above .......
Each to their own etc but Q gave the album a 5 star review and I must say it's pretty damned fine.
4 stars from me....
Yes Bono is a complete Bellend, but even that doesn't detract from their latest album being close to top notch

Yes got four tickets for Cardiff, still one of the best live bands in the world regardless of what the naysayers say on here. It's trendy to slag them off these days so everyone does.

I like them and have done since 1979 so that kind of puts your statement in the dumb bin doesn't it?

Also going to Cardiff, three tickets standing so will be getting there nice and early to get down the front
Also love everything they've done and the are one of the best bands out there to see live.
So to all the detractors (that I told not to post)

Went to get 2 tickets for Croke Park, they offered me 2 tickets less than half way from the back and £150 quid each for the pleasure. I don't think so...they can keep them...whilst I wouldn't mind seeing them again they are not THAT good to warrant it.

I paid £17 to see them at Wembley stadium in 1987 (and stand wherever I liked): and that was too dear! £150, they must be having a laugh?

I paid 50p to see them in Dandelion Market in Dublin many years ago. I checked out the Cardiff gig -- same thing £150 a ticket for half decent seats. They really are having a laugh....well they won't be laughing at me I dare not think of how many gold teeth we'd have to give up for a t-shirt...and to be honest, although I've liked U2 for a long time there are other acts out there which you can see which are better and for a lot less.

Hold on guys before we go too mad. There were tickets available for £30, £55 and £85 as well as the £150. Fact is you were just too late. TBH most sold out on the pre-sale.
And if Streisand can command £500 a ticket U2 is a veritable bargain at £150 anyway

£30 if you want to stand for 4 or 5 hours to get a good place....maybe. Pre-sale means signing up to U2.com for $50 so who's really getting the best deal? IMHO U2 are ripping the **** out of it.
I won't even dare comment on Streisand! Grumpy old git that I am
