Perhaps it was locked because the thread was simply trolling. Oh what fun, posting incorrect information to catch people out, I can't contain my laughter, my sides are splitting.

Humor is very objective. It appears that some find his thread very amusing indeed, whilst others think it's tedious, as it's posted every time there is a clock change by the same person, with the same intention. I do have a sense of humor, but jokes can and do wear thin and I think this one has done just that.

There are those who take life too seriously, get too upset over trivia - they are put on earth and ScoobyNet so we can laugh at them
It's gods gift to us

Markus is blessed with the same condition I have - the mere appearance of the name conjours up images and thoughts. I am considered a bit of a fool and childish ..... Markus is seen as an IT Geeky Gimp of the Librarian kind - both ideal canditates for instant Infractions

I actually disagree with Markus as well. I find Pete's clocks threads chucklesome (rather than hilarious) and I'm impressed that he remembers each time.
People don't seem to mind April Fool jokes. So why is this any different?

Some of Petes stuff is amusing, some of it might be considered useful and the rest of it I ignore. If there isn't an anti Pete vendetta going on, how come I managed to post exactly the same thing two days previously without either getting infracted or getting the thread locked. The only logical explanation is that some people don't like the fact that it has been posted by Pete, as the content is the same.
Anyway - Is there really anyone of normal intelligence that can't work out what to do with the clocks on Sunday?

So each of your 10000 odd posts have been 100% factual and useful?

I would suggest that whilst posting inane tripe (generally, and in the opinion of numerous users of this BBS) with the apparent purpose of catching others out for one's own amusement is bordering on a breach of the terms and conditions of this BBS, having multiple usernames to support your "quest" to do so is, well, a bit wierd.

If I start a thread and someone Infracts me for it - it does actually beg the question why they read the thread in the FIRST place if they hate my posts so much!
It's more of a controlling thing - they want to control what I say and who can read it.
