Listers of Worcester - SPEED TRAP
#1
There is a permanent speed trap in the sleepy hollow of Hallow!!
As you leave the dealership and turn left ( away from Worcester) there are three lines in the road and a small grey pole. If the trap is in operation, it is videoing cars and is being manned by local residents. They are photographing the driver, not the car. Personally, it is tempting to go through wearing a crash helmet and false plates but I guess that is silly.
Six staff at Listers have got a £60 fine etc before they realised the trap was there.
You have been warned.

Worrying isn't it.
Apparently they just go and plug it in when bored with daytime TV.
I know if I had got caught I would challenge it on
a) Joe Public
and
b) Discrimination against car drivers. Forget motorbike riders not being able to get caught ( no front number plate and crash helmet), apparently, motorbikes do not even set the camera/video off!! Discrimination in the extreme.
Actually, I dont think Hallow residents particularly like Listers so it probably only picks up Subaru's.

That'll be the delectable Leigh then??
As for this speed trap - just spoke to the lads back home and it may be *removed* Saturday night
either that or some of the local residents may be paid a visit......
(Dear P.C Plod the above statement was a joke.....however I am advised that an innocent wheelspin in the wrong (correct) place will tear up the strips and leave the video useless - as will attaching a large magnet to the side of the video box...not that I would condone such behaviour )
These c***s from Hallow are the ones who do 40 in the 30 limit anyway

I agree with Rich, drive through Hallow at 30(in a low gear to make plenty of noise ) and watch as the locals pull out in front of you and disappear or sit 2 inches off your boot complaining that you are going to slow!!!!!!!
Now if only all sales staff were like Leigh.

I think these lines are truvelo (they have them by me) Three lines laid into the road (so can't be cut) A video car sits a few feet up from the lines and plugs a lead into the grey pole then starts filming. If its the same as the one's by me look a few feet up from the small grey pole and there should be some black matting laid down for the video car to park on. There are loads of these around and the car just moves from point to point. Superglue in a lock prevents the camera been plugged in though (so I've been told)
