I use a similar thing, mines made by tutlewax people company majig. They are excellent on the flatter panles like boot, doors, roof, bonnet etc, but certain bits you still need to use a chamoise.

Thanks flatcapdriver. I think Halfrauds do a similar and cheaper alternative. i just wanted to ask as my old chamois has seen better days and didnt want to buy another one if the 'gadget' actually worked.
Thanks all.
I should edit my first post to say lazy and tight!

Sadly, the balancing failed to work as I have a buckled wheel so not quite the saving I could have made.

Bought one years ago from when the Motorshow was still in London!!!
£6 at the time and it was great. It's probably stuck in a box somewhere in my parents garage. I really must get it back....

water baldes are good...but now i use the flash car wash and would never go back to drying a car again.
why would you spend ages rubbing it with an old leather when you can spend 2 mins hosing it down with flash and it dries perfect every time?

Looked at the Flash car wash thing......scottish genes kicked in, dusted off my wallet, shooed the moths away and begrudgingly handed over the dusty tenner for the blade
