Maldives + Dubai !
Hi guys,
Looking for some help and advice from anyone who has been to either the maldives, the seychelles, or dubai. I'm planing a two stop holiday with my girlfriend at the start of May and want to book asap, but before I book I was curious if anyone has stayed at any of the hotels listed below and would like to comment on them.
Maldives :
Meerufenfushi Island Resort
Laguna Beech Resort
Cottage Club Kuramathi
Kuramathi Village
Dubai :
Jebel Ali Golf Resort
Towers Rotana
Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa
Jumeriah Beach
Sheraon Jumeriah Beach Resort & Towers
Golden Sands Apartments
Seychelles:
Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay
Coral Strand
All comments welcome ... good and bad !
Help me make up my mind guys !
Many thanks in advance !
Ricky !

Try www.meeru.co.uk for a good forum with plenty of reports and pics. Me and the missus are planning to go to meeru early next year and my bro and his missus are going in August this year so we are waiting on their report before we book. Apparently Meeru is back to normal since the recent events.

Been to the kuramathi village its probably one of the biggest islands but its just amazing you have to go to believe it.
If you do go try to get one of the woodern huts on land unless you want one of them in the sea ?

Caught it before the price hike when we stayed there on our Honeymoon. We were on the north western side of the Island... God that was a lovely place.
Evening meal, personal waiter.. the food selection was awesome, even for us Veggies! Couple of ICE cold drinks and a wander down to the end of the pier to look at the fishies... take a torch and you can catch the reef sharks hunting
Personally I'd just stay there again... just beautiful. Takes 30 mins to walk (and paddle) around the whole island

Things have changed slightly but in the end I got a good deal and have ended up just booking two weeks in the maldives.... no dubai ! Staying in the Kurumba Village. From what I can read it seems like a newly renovated delux resort.
Stayed at the Kurumba ? If so then please reply with a few opinions and tips for my holiday ?
Many thanks !
