Michelle found out where we were going in Dubai, a mate of ours who work and stayed over there took us out to town on the first night. He didn't know it was a surprise and said something like, "Are you looking foward to going to the Maldives?" [surprise mode blown]. Still, she would known sooner or later

It was fantastic, really enjoyed ourselves. Back to reality now, the usual cold Scottish weather and all that . We didn't get to taste the cake either so I couldn't tell you what it's like. Will give you a bit the next time I see you!

BTW, remember I owe you one big time, for you posting my pictures up on scoobynet. I've got a wee question for you -

Where you wearing your kilt the true Scottish way? I don't think so as I've got photographic evidence! It wasn't me who took the pictures but I've a feeling it was your wife who took them! Pay back is sweet................

I may well be on honeymoon at the moment but you're right dougie, I will kill you when I get back!

Just got to say that Maldives is the best place to go for a honeymoon, you can't get any better!

Will post some pics up when I get back!

Flew out to Dubai for 4 days on the 19th October. Weather very warm. The Mitsubishi Rally team were staying in the same hotel! They were here for the Dubai Safari Rally with their jeep thingy, not the Evos .

Staying on the Meeru Island in Maldives, can't fault it at all, will recommend it to anyone. Just got to watch out for the stingrays and sharks as well as the fruit bats! Got a water villa so we can just step out of out villa straight into the ocean!

Got to go now, lots more drinking to do so will speak to you all once I get back!

i spoke to the lad that now has my car,he said someone waved frantically a couple of weeks ago in a p1,think it could have been you. im having to use the wifes xantia/the kwak and shank's pony until my new motor arrives so if you see me walking along the racecourse road ,gies a lift!!
