No-claims help
Hi guys.
I have got to insure my new evo for the 1st of september or thereabouts but i also own another car with full no claims bonus on it (type R) Im looking at Bell Direct as they seem to do very good prices and was wondering whether they will carry over 'mirror' my no claims discount in full onto the Evo thus both having full no claims on both cars..Im sure there are some insurance companies that do this and on Bells online quote website they give the option of a second car when applying.. Im guessing all i have to do IF i decide to take out cover with them, is ask my present insurance company to provide proof of no-claims and.. bosch!! I have both cars with full no claims discount.. Is it really this easy?

I had a policy with Bell direct once, and when my mum rang up for a quote on her car, then told them they insured mine, they gace her full no calaims on the strength of that alone..... mind you, i have to say i was amazed..... i would normally expect something like 20-30% as a start off......

I would ring your current insurers as well and see if they can mirror you NCD discount on the second car. Mine did (- Happen to be Bell direct at the time !)

Depending on how long is left on your current insurance and what if any cash will get back from cancelling the policy, it might be finically worth while to swap to say Bell to mirror max NCD on both cars.
