Default 03 Blob Wrx, VF35 Conversion...

First of all hello to you all, been browsing this forum for nearly 3 years now since i persuaded my dad onto an impreza, Seems like the best community to look for info etc so here we go!

I have recently got a few bits cheap for the car from my workplace, as we are going the VF35 Route now the bits have came available from a Fire damaged 02 sti.

I have searched about, and there is a lot of info regarding the swap but no proper list for whats ideal to run on This tubby!

At the moment the car has:
K&N Apollo (routed into wing)
Hayward and scott Catback
Redstuff pads
Apart from this the cars standard.

Here are the bits i have just bought off an 02 STI
VF35
Sti Pinks
Sti TMIC
Sti Uppipe and manifold (Is the mani any different?)
Sports cat Downpipe (Is it worth gutting this or leave it as a cat?)

Have also bought the brembos, and coilovers are getting ordered shortly to sort the chassis out.

Is there anything missing off this list that is good to go onto the car while we do it all? Walbro pump etc?
Considering wrapping the manifold, uppipe and downpipe etc, as well as possibly porting?

Basically want a Good list we can build up before it all gets fitted and in for a map.

Sorry if there is such a thread that i have missed lol!

Thanks

The only thing I can think of is a 3 port boost valve to replace your 2 port. I think the sti uppipe is a straight swap onto your manifold and I would definitely fit the sports cat too. If you are fitting all the other parts I wouldn't skimp on the fuel pump, a walbro 255 will do the job.

Also if I were you I may also consider going back to the standard airbox and panel filter, and use k&n or green cotton , cosworth filter etc rather than your Apollo , the standard airbox is good unless you are going for big bhp, just what I've heard from guys on here.

Ahhh forgot about that, will get that then if its not damaged. And yeh have read a few things about the standard airbox, Chew on refitting it though so think i will leave the apollo in as its a nice setup!

Apart from seeing a good mapper I think you've got a nice set up there, good luck with it.

Thanks mate, its as much as i could possibly think of getting off the sti, Still unsure if any aftermarket parts would put the icing on the cake though.

It's never ending mate as you will soon find out, I'm going the same route as you but with a vf34 instead and pinks, Sti tmic, etc etc, Just saving up to get fitted and mapped now can't wait.

K&N Apollo (routed into wing)
Hayward and scott Catback
VF35
Sti Pinks
Sti TMIC
Sti Uppipe
Sti manifold (Is it any different?)
Sports cat Downpipe (Is it worth gutting this or leave it as a cat?)
Brembos
Sti wheels
Coilovers (To be ordered)
3 Port Boost valve (To be ordered, which one?)
Walbro pump (To be ordered)
Tex Tech Magmawrap heatwrap

Good enough?

Thanks
