Default Back in an Impreza again !! STi Type UK

Since having my last blob WRX & having to sell it due to a change in career I have missed it (mainly the noise), I bought a Leon TDi to commute to work to start with & then after getting quite a good pay increase I decided that I didnt need a diesel so ended up buying an Audi 2.0 TFSi Quattro.

Had that for a few months until my boss decided to give me the pick of any car on our pitch to use & go on his insurance for pleasure use as well as bussiness.

So with me not actually needing my own car I sold the Audi & put the money in the bank, It wasnt long until I had the urge to buy something to mess with so rather than having money in the bank I bought this.

When I bought it the car wasnt too bad but it did need things doing to it so I ended up spending quite a bit on it mechanically. At some point it had been re-sprayed but wasnt the best job & I had all intentions of having it re-painted.

Since I bought the escort I literally went out in it 2 or 3 times, I was worried it would break down so I never really used it but just kept it in the garage.

After a few months I got asked by Jake to go with him to pick up his new Impreza, After seeing it, Going in it & hearing how it sounded made me want another one again.

So today this happened

A nice trip out later I ended coming back with this

Went up to see Brian at CAMS Performance last week.
I had a sports cat, HKS SSQ DV, K&N panel filter, non res centre pipe & rear silencer fitted along with a Walbro fuel pump in preparation for the re-map.

Also got this through the post this week.

I love it!

Those hazard lights came out with the JDM blobs correct?

Yep JDM hazard switch.

Well had the car mapped today & must say what a different car it feels, Love how responsive & the torque it has now.

Had pops and bangs & launch control mapped in aswell just for a bit of fun.

Since owning the car it has had a judder from the clutch on setting off so today I wet to cams performance & had a Exedy clutch & ligtened fly wheel fitted.
There were some groves in the old flywheel.

Whilst it was in having the clutch done I thought I would treat it to some nice shiny bits as well.

New strut brace & buddy club oil cap fitted.

Also the JDM hazard switch finally got fitted.

Im from Middleton so not too far away.

The RS Turbo was nice but was afraid to use it.
