Question What is the name of the Victorian town in uk

Hi, i saw on tv few years ago a place in England that had never changed they still wore olde robes and still baked bread in the mills etc make there own shoes etc, No electric, HAd horse and carriages etc,,

Ive searched google etc lots of small towns etc come up,
Does anyone here know the place or heard of it,

Im sure ill get some crazy replies,,,

Or slightly more local is the Black Country Museum Highly recommend this one.

Or further north there's Beamish Living Museum.

I've been to all of these, inc Ironbridge, and as a daytrip I'd suggest Black Country. Ironbridge/Blists Hill deserve at least a weekend visit, due to the amount of different things to see in the area.

Now, as a kid, I went on a school trip to a manor somewhere and they are all dressed in period clothing, we as kids were also encouraged to dress up as well ........... Only thing is, I cannot remember the name of the place ?

TBH alot of castles, manors etc, do this. last one we went to was Kentwell Hall.

Some great places all,
The one i remember on tv, i think its the ironbridge one Bate mentioned,
people are all dressed up in the olde clothing, i actually thgought it was a real town where people live like this all year round,
Few ppl mentioned its Amish, i dont think it is,

If there was a real community like this, Amish etc, I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate being a tourist attraction.

Hedingham castle are doing a bit of jousting. August 30th & 31st Joust III - The Royal Tournament with Knights of Royal England 10am – 5pm. ESC are fully booked that weekend though.
