In two minds what to do
Had my Subaru for a few months now and as I'm sure most of you know the initial speed now seems average so now I want more BHP....(cars got a cat back exhaust that's it)
I'm not going for a massive increase but I want enough to put a grin on my face, my thoughts were just having a remap for extra BHP and better drivability or do I depend extra money on decat, injectors etc etc
Is the extra £500-1000 in mods really worth the extra BHP or is a remap to say around 250bhp going to be plenty for that grin factor
Another thing is I only ever use my car for driving around town on the weekend maybe the odd trip out so don't really use it all that much

Lose the catted up-pipe and remove the 2nd cat (still passes mot) new fuel pump and ecutek or open source re map and you'll see ish 270/280bhp.
Cheaper way is to get the PPP parts and re-flash PPP map, slightly less power (260bhp) but maybe £500 cheaper dependant on where you get the parts from.
Should be able to pick up WRX PPP parts off here for less than £200 and the map is free off here, just need someone to flash your ECU with it, 10 min job.
