I have just built a new PC and I am damned if I can find the CD that came with the Modem (Alcatel Speedtouch 330 USB) ... so I have installed the drivers from the Speedtouch website, but when you come to install it, you are prompted for a phonebook.ini file ??

I searched the web for one, found one, but now I can't get it to work anyway!

Has anyone had this problem, if so is there a fix?

Alternatively does anyone have the original CD handy to send me a copy of the file? (I have connectivity via the old PC for now).

Cheers

Jon

Nope can't find it anywhere

The install implies that you need a provider specific install CD - can't find mine

If that doesn't work there may be manual install guidelines on pipex site but i'm not with them so can't log in
