External or PCI?? Is there an advantage to either? Any make/model recomendations welcome
Or would I be better off with a router? I will only be using one pc on this connection.

i had a pci one for neatness but used to get problems with it
so i had to buy a cheap usb one for 30 quid from pc world.
this works fine
if you just want one connection you dont really need a router

I have looked at their packages but I want a 1mb line which I don't believe they do at the moment
Also leaning towards the router option. Like the look of the Solwise SAR715. Anyone got one?

I bought a MRI ADSL router with usb and Ethernet (1 port) for £51 inc vat from Scan, and very happy with it I am too.
I'm quite suprised by the functionality on offer for the money, including port redirection, firewall + port filtering, VPNs etc.
Cheers,
Alex
