Hi is anyone running the above tyre size on a classic shape impreza MY99? What if any issues have/do you have running them.
Any information appreciated Steve.

Classics should run 205/45/17 or the favourite because they are more available are the 215/40/17. 225/45/17 are completely incorrect for a classic and may make the speedo over read (which is illegal).
Stick to the 2 above recommended sizes

It came like that, just looked online the wheels are from 2000 / 2004 / 5 bugeye, and I checked speedo shows its actually 2 mph above actual speed.

I'll just amend that previous one if you over read, ie you do 30mph and it shows 28mph on the speedo, thats illegal, you need to replace your tyres with the specified ones above, it WILL damage the differential which will cause it to fail due to the rotation of both sets of wheels being different.

I'm fine with speed then mine shows about 32 when I am doing 30, and as to tyres I will probably change back tyres from 215 to 225 and for Yokohama tyres all round, just need to know if I change so all 4 of em are 225 would that be ok.

thats wrong, if you are doing 32 and its showing 30 then its out and illegal, you need to change the tyres back to standard (205/45/17 or 215/40/17).
