DS2500 to Bluestuff NDX

DS2500 to Bluestuff NDX
Having read the favourable comments regarding the EBC Bluestuff NDX pads and being not particularly impressed with the Ferodo DS2500 as an everyday street pad with an very occasional venture on track, I decided to give the Bluestuff a try even though the Ferodo's were only slightly worn. I fitted a set of fronts on the Brembos and the difference was apparent right from the start! The bite felt much better from cold and although I've literally only done a few miles on them and they're far from bedded-in, the brakes feel more powerful. I found the DS2500's a little inconsistant on occasions so I'm hoping the EBC's will be more inspiring. I'm now about to order a set for the rear to finish the job properly.
Has anyone else gone from DS2500 to Bluestuff NDX? If so, what were your findings?

I use the blue ndx and find them superb for fast road and occaisonal trackdays. I was using mintex extreme before and they were awfull, really noisy so the change was a good experience. As you say they work straight out the box and from cold...

I've just gone from DS2500to the NDX on 4 pots with DBA grooved discs.
The Blues are far better from cold, slightly noisier and are equally resistant to fade.
Mine are for road use only at the minute.

I was really impressed with the bluestuff ndx on the road and on track, I'm now using Tarox pads which are better from cold but i dunno how they will fare on track. I am tempted to try the ferodos next because they are more expensive so i assumed they were better but it sounds like thats not the case.

Have just fitted Orangestuff to my K Sports. They are utterly superb!
I don't know what all the fuss was about regarding them being a track only pad.
The cold bite from them is astonishing and they get even better once warmed up!!
Highly recommended, they are the best pad I have ever had so far!!!!!

The legal side of it is a bit of a farce really , as Daz has K sport brakes , which are not factory supplied , then he can fit whatever pads he wants and stays legal , if you have a 99 onwards car , and have factory calipers , then the pads should be Reg 90 certified , which makes all good pads technically illegal

I'd like to know what the standpoint is from an Insurance point of view , based on " Technically Illegal". When the assesor come's round and see's you have technically illegal pads after a major fault accident and worst case scenario personal injury, do they still pay the claim.
