So, seriously thinking about Alcon 330 mm upgrade.....
Considering changing the hoses to S/S braided at the same time and I note that Subaru recommend upgrading the rear pads.
So, some questions plse:
1) Do Subaru do braided hoses, if so, what's the part # and RRP?
2) What's the difference between the GGR GGS034 'GGR designed' hoses at £119, the GGR GGS360 'Goodridge' hoses at £59, the SS hoses at £59 and the SM hoses at £44 (latter might be an old price list?)?
3) Is it worth upgrading the rear pads?
If so:
4a) Should I get DS2000 or the (new?) DS2500. Will the DS2500 still 'match' the upgaded fronts (DS2000 I believe)
4b) DS2000 rear pads have a RRP of £88. What's the price of DS2500
4c) Does Subaru do DS2500 or do you have to go to somewhere like TSL
TIA

Hmmmm IMHO
1 - No, subaru don't sell em.
2 - Dunno, I have plain old Goodridge from Scoobysport fitted to my alcons - you should do front and rear hoses.
3 - On my car the rears never get any wear, spend most of the braking time with all the weight over the front anyway. Others get thru rears really quickly though, *may* be worth doing.
4 - I dunno about supply of DS2500.
Cheers
