Was looking at the specs, and the DS2500 has a higher friction and higher temp than the m1144s, just wondered if anyone had tried them ?
I have had some comments about them being good for fade resistance, comparable to m1144, but not rebust enough for track use, where m1144 will be okay.
On paper the DS2500 looks superior. Just wondered what they are like in real life.
Any comments ?

I switched from the mintex1144s to the Ferrodo 4003 v similar to the 2500s on my RB5, and they are way better, better feel, grip from cold, far better stopping power when warm, not as dirty and no squeeks.

just IMHO of course.

Thanks for the info guys.

Its actually for my 205 GTi, but the Scooby seems to be a good car when it comes to making or breaking uprated parts like brakes or even tyres.

Mintex 1144 are road pads, comparable to Ferodo DS2000. DS2500 are closer to 1155 for fast road/track.
