Default anyone used these brakes ?

Hi guys, has anyone used this brake set up before ?

I am looking at upgrading my standard 2 pot calipers and i have a choice of either these or standard Subaru 4 pot calipers, opinions please !

What brake setup? Are you missing a link?

Looks like Paul&Bon is, although he says they are 308mm:

I did some research on the original group buy on these years ago, 2002 I think. Most people said they were an improvemen over the 2 pots, but then anything is.
I think for ease and availability, you'g be better off with some Subaru 4 pots.

I thought that too but been told the Subaru 4 pots are pretty rubbish !

Maybe on a newage, with it being heavier, but they are very capable on a classic.

The Subaru callipers are good if they are working properly with no seized pistons , but you need to have a good pad , that's the key to getting them working , the 2 piece set up in your link will work better than the subaru4 pots

Thanks for the advice Ian, would you happen to know if the Godspeed kit will fit under 17" wheels ?

Depends on the wheels, they DO fit under WRX 17" wheels, for example.

As Ian said, decent discs, pads, fluid and hoses gets the best from the Subaru 4 pot calipers. They're fine on a Newage for fast road use.

Im pretty sure Ian does a conversion that keeps the existing subaru 4 pots with bigger disc's than standard using extension brackets etc.
