Wet Track Day Tyres
What kinda tyres do people use when its raining/wet/damp on track... I have a set of slicks for full dry track which im going to use, but would like something for when its raining on track...
Do i go for cut slicks or road going tyres?

Have used R888's on the road in the wet and they are pure death traps... suppose its different on track though... Was looking at some Dunlop SP Sports the other day, someone said they were fairly decent on track in wet

echo the comments re R888's.
We use them in all weathers now. Only complaint is they dont like rivers on track, but you have to expect this.
Make sure they have quite a deep tread though (not that they come with much!). They are better in the wet than most road tyres!

I use Dunpol SP Sport Maxx for very quick road driving in the (I have used these in absolute down pours going real quick) wet, and they have amazing grip "ONCE WARM" like any tyre they need heat, just fitting some new 18" wheels to my car and I am looking at doing track days, considering fitting the R888s for out right grip but was concerned about there grip on the road before they are warm?
I believe there is a new tyre called Toyo R1R which is a comprimise between the T1R and R888, sounds interesting?

They seem to be getting good reviews from Japan, and are going to be standard fitment tyres to the new Evo X FQ400
