I might just know the man in question...
He's mapped three Impreza's for me and I've just emailed him to book another mapping session after the latest round of modifications and a slight engine repair.
Do you want his contact details or would you like me to contact him for you?
His email address is
Bob Rawle
E-mail Address(es):
rbr@brdevelopments.com
He's a really good bloke and has helped me out and offered advice on countless occasions, one of if not the best mappers out there in land of Subaru's.

Quite a rare problem from what I understand but it should all turn out ok in the end, I can increase the compression ratio and it should mean more BHP. But I will be using Cometic upated gaskets and ARP 11mm head studs to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The shares are coming along very well , I think the HG failure was just one of those things I suppose.

Been to Bob's to map the sti, he found one fault, a restrictor that was left in the 3 port pipe work after the cars first map, he then replaced the pipe work to solenoid due to it being perished. To be fair with him I only took it for a remap and did this extra work. He is very good and would use him again.
