Post Filing car paperwork / car history

Filing car paperwork / car history

As many of you do, I have more than one vehicle, I really hate hunting through the bloated plastic popper wallets for each one when I need something.

I once saw a pic of a s/net friend's somewhat OTT OCD solution in what I recall as being in his study, and remember being impressed!

My paperwork and lack of tons of space is getting out of hand now so I want it all squared away in sectioned filing of some sort. I've worked out so far 6 categories that I want to partition for each vehicle. However before I start ordering
6 pocket multi organiser 6 pocket multi organiser
wallets I thought I'd show my logic and see if you can spot any glaring omissions?

DVLA Log book and tax, and Personalised VRN docs if applicable
MOT / VOSA Past and present
PARTS Invoices for bits and bobs
SERVICE and labour
Current Insurance Policy docs etc
Old Insurance Expired ^^ ^^

Anything I'm missing?

Looks like you have everything covered....

I keep mine in those hole punched plastic sleeves and have everything in date order, and back to back. Except MOT's which are all together - again back to back. Everything goes into a normal A4 ring binder.

I have stapled onto a plain A4 sheet all my old tax discs.

The painful part is looking back over the years seeing what you've spent!

Brrrr Urrrgggh just got a shiver down my spine lol
