Bob Rawle/Steve Lawson/Mark Aigin-Three Kings!
Ok.
Just a big thanks to Bob Rawle/Steve and Mark for their help yesterday/today with Bobs STI2 that Anders has now purchased.
Anders bought Bobs car and then after the sale the it was the plug used to block the existing manifold lambda socket on the scoobysport downpipe popped off at 70mph on the M4 (not an issue at all with Petes parts I hasten to add!!) & (no high boost as its ZERO! tolerence on the M4 now!-you have been warned!) It sounded like we had run something over. Then straight after, the noise it made from then on was similar to a failed turbo (from what I have heard before)
Obviously this was somewhat scary and we pulled over straight away.
Anders called Bob (for a diagnosis-not to moan
) and he got straight in the car and came to see the problem, Bob just got in the car and drove. No questions asked. After closer inspection it was this plug. A little mention to my man Bob Macphee who looks after my scoob as well-as we called him to ask what spark plug size was required.
Got to halfords and after Bob and Mark fiddled for some time they managed to get the plug in to get us on our way yesterday.
Thanks Lads. You are stars. (considering Mark had around 2 hours sleep
that night)
So, off to see Steve Lawson this morning for him to finish the job off and replace the D.I.Y job outside a McDonalds in Reading with the correct part to get the car back to full boost! Its done and working fine and dandy now thanks to three total diamonds in this community.
The car is working sweet and is raging
Anders was lucky to snap this beast up!!!!
Its got more punch than mine and spools up so very nicely, I would say now (and those who know me and my car) that I am *considering* a link
Thanks Guys
Ronnie
Edited because there was actually no fault with the scoobysport downpipe.

On the contrary, David! This time Anders actually had a lot of GOOD luck. Normally there would be no one around to rescue him and the usual problem was it took ages to fix things! Not this time, however!
Long live the Three Kings. The are genuinely special (in a good sense, of course!)

Jonathan,
You're joking......it would never have made it to J12/M4 if it'd been running one of MY maps. Bottom of Bobs drive would have been more likely......
