plastic welding p1 splitter?

You need to clean it with brake cleaner then use like tiger seal this is what body shops stick pannels with just go to any car acc's shop they will have some its like mastic but its all in the cleaning ok.

Wheres the crack??
Ive got one and im going to rivet a metal plate on the inside, and countersink the rivet heads and then use a plastic filler over it... but will plastic weld it together with a soldering gun and then sand smooth and use a plastic filler... drop me a mail if you want more information.

right... mended mine..
Filler is fine, if its a plastic / bumper 2 Part filler...
Mine is mended... have photos... ill post them tomorrow.
Metal plate... rivet... bumper filler... jobs a good un.

You must be doing something wrong if it wont stick with the stuff the body shops use because it will stick anything its black like windscreen adhesive not the grey stuff they use for sealing.Is this the stuff you used? If it aint try it dont pop rivit it!

erm.. I didnt take any pics when I did it..
the p1 splitter doesnt lend well to plastic welding.. the bumpers do.. but the splitter doesnt.. try fibreglass. or riveting a piece of metal to the back of it..
