Hi
Will an STi8 wing fit on a WRX? Without requiring extra holes in the boot lid?

I'm swopping my STi8 wing for a WRX one, but will only do it if there is no drilling involved. (And I don't want ugly holes in my bootlid either)

I think they will but think you need tension support bar with the STi8 one too.

I'd have swaped you my WRX WR blue spoiler for an STi8 too!!

I have looked under the STI 8 Boot lid dring the weekend - there are extra 4 bolts on the middle to secure the spoiler.

Therefore in this case - you have to drill more holes to fit the STI 8 rear wing to your WRX.

Means I'll have to keep the tea-tray on the boot...no Q-car looks in my STi's future...

You can always swap the complete boot lids too if you wanna swap spoilers.Not easy but not impossible either!! (Assuming you have the same colour cars obviously)

Why the **** are you swapping a 900 quid Dogs Danglies Spoiler for the WRX Ironing Board you can pick up for less than 50 quid in the For Sale section..... ????????????

I have a MY01 WRX and did a complete boot swap + money for an sti8 spoiler , it took about 10 mins and we just undid the 4 bolts holding the lid on and changed the lock barrell. the reason the guy wanted to swap boots was because he's buying a carbon fibre one that only needs the 4 holes that were already in my boot and not the 9 (?) that were in his..

Looks nice tho, and was exactly the same colour. I'll post a pic when fotango is back up
