Really hacked off with Lucas Neill, breaks a fellow professionals leg and has not even bothered to apologise. I don't see how we can even contest the 'tackle'. ******* throw the book at the bstard, if I was JC I would be sueing for intent. He should get a ban for the same time as JC is out.

I can only assume that Souness is pleased with the tackle, its one right out of his book.

Who's gonna pay JCs wages now for the next 6 months ? Bring back Babbel - used to have a lot of time for Rovers, them cheating tw*ts can go screw themselves.

ash, I won't defend the tackle because you can't! It was bad...

However...

What a hypocrite GH is for going on about it in the press.... and also what about the Liverpool fans! It was not too long ago that Steven Gerard did an equally as bad tackle which only by sheer luck did it not cause injuries to a similar degree that JC has suffered.

GH refused to condemn the tackle made by SG and even defended him. There was no difference between the challenges..... .if anything I would say SG's had more intent!

I hope JC makes a swift recovery. ........mainly because he's cr@p and I'd prefer to see him playing... teams will always have a chance of beating Liverpool then.

No difference ? Broken leg is the difference, and SG has apologised for some of his bad tackles (ref: Naysmith).

You're entitled to your opinion on JC - he's not the best of players going forward, but he is an excellent defender.

At least we have defensive cover and it will give Smicer an opportunity to show what he can do.

different end result - one broken leg, the challenge on Naysmith was on his thigh, and SG went to apologise straight after the game.

Gotta hand it to Souness, he's now asking for an apology himself. Is he taking the **** ? I think he is.
