Problems are usually down to poor fitting, take it back and ask them to sort it out.

Points to note, Imprezas need a modified alarm from Clifford.
And the plain view switch will fatigue if fitted in the concaved switch insert, over time.

Let us know how u get on M8

As Ajax said i would definately enquire as to whether you have a modified unit or not. If you don't then i would advise you to have it changed otherwise you may experience problems such as these

I've had all sorts of problems with mine. When I bought the car it came fitted with the 600. At first it was fine beep once to open twice to close but refused to close the front windows.

Now it won't beep at all, the proximity sensor has stopped working but it will now wind the front windows up albeit the drivers side takes 20 seconds to start moving and stops about 3/4 the way up. It won't go into program mode at all and I've been told that it might start beeping again if I replace the siren at £90 fitted

I'm seriously considering getting it re-fitted properly.

Mark@Clifford/Directed:

Well that’s a new one on me from pum.

The Clifford has been sweet since it was sorted by you and Interpart.at Didcot
Thank you for your help.

The computer link cable is very handy, even if it did mean getting a laptop
Recommend it to any one for easy setting up of the Clifford

Have you bought that Scooby yet Mark, I know your gagging for one?

Default Bogus fault

Ajax:

Glad your alarm is sorted, i achieved my goal that i set from the start then?
I successfully restored your faith in a product that i know works and is problem free. The product is as good as its installation.

Have not bought one yet looking out for a wagon if anyone is selling?

Pum:

Your dealer should win an innovation award for that story.

And story is the most appropriate word, your remote has an encrypted rolling code that can't be grabbed, even if someone tried the alarm would not register this action.

Well it has made us chuckle here in the office.

Steve (pum)
Tell your installer to retire from the alam game , with his imagination he would make himself a millionaire from writing the scripts for Eastenders ( link to thread sent to BBC )
Had exactly the same prob with mine and it turned out to be a slightly dislodged plug !
Did you notice his nose growing whilst he was explaining the problem ?
Anyway I have taken the liberty of sending you a book ....
