I had a Clifford concept 600 and it was a pain in the ****! The ideas are great but reliability is questionable.

And the black jax thing is a good idea but a pain if you forget to enter the code and all the sudden you get beep beep beep and you have 20 seconds to disarm while doing 40mph!

I have top of the range Toad alarm and it has bullet proof reliability and while it doens't have all the bits Clifford do you can still bolt on the equivelent.

I like my TOAD's

Not as fancy as the Clifords but better quality. But make sure you go for the top-of the line models. I find the cheepo models not as good reliability-wise (you get what you pay for).
