Spooks, when i was in the middle of the remap, mines was also overboosting, not sure of the exact figure. Gavin had to change the boost regulator(think thats the right term), as he stated the stock was to small. It took two minutes and seemed to solve the problem.
just go for the remap mate, money well spent.

Car seemed to be OK this eve but didnt push it too hard ( only 6.5K in 5th ...kiddin I swear), does only happen in 5th though. Checked for any leaks and ensure it didnt have any oil in the boost solonoid etc

this is wierd as i also had a problem with overboost yesterday!
it was reading 20psi before fuel cut dropped it to 10psi
dunno what caused it but its going to awd to get checked out tommorrow.
BTW when i recently had my boost guage fitted it stopped dumping from the vta????? any ideas why this has happened?
