Default GD sti restrictor pill into gc8 wrx with td04L

Hi Rex heads? New to this forum, am missing the pill from a my99 gc8 w/td04l been donated one from a friend with a gd sti, was hoping someone has tried this before and can tell me what repercussions to expect if any higher boost, lower boost, no boost, lunge an engine.. what's gonna happen? Please refrain from suggesting a t-peice aftermarket boost controller apart from that all tips and help greatly appreciated

What boost did it run before you lost the pill?
Fit new one and check?

As far as I can see they're both 0.9mm for a 99 JDM WRX and a Newage STI. Boost shouldn't be affected.

it had an apexi pwrfc with electronic boost controller when I bought the car. hand controller was set at 9psi since then I've rebuilt the engine and restored the ecu back to factory.

Best news I've heard all day! Any chance I could get the link to your source of information? But in saying boost won't be affected it will bring it up from waste gate pressure to the std 14psi correct?

I have it stored in my notes on my iPhone but I got the text from a Subaru forum a while back. I'll copy and paste the text and try to find the actual source later on.
