The best oil is whatever it says in your handbook. Your engine won't be modified to push out double it's original power so you don't need an exotic oil, just whatever Subaru says.

Its never "best" to stick with the cheap stuff. Fully synth will be better than semi, just its expensive and not really necessary in an engine of your type. All depends on your budget and how much you love your car.

If you go for a 5w 40 it cover all the grades you listed above. There are many great oil brands available and all as good as each other. If it were me i would use Fuch Titan fully synth 5w 40.

on your lower end you say 5w 30
on your higher end you say 10w 40
So a 5w 40 covers your lower and higher end. That's the whole point of modern multi-grade oils. A 5w 30 would be the winter grade or colder climate. The 10w 40 a summer oil or where the engine will be pushed and get hot. The 5w 40 covers it all for your car.

Its possible a 5w 40 was not widely available at the time your car was built and the handbook printed.

and one more thing i was going to use engine flush when i change the oil as my car has done 111000 miles now but i see some people say you should never use engine flush on a subaru for some reason. i was going to use forte engine flush but i don't know if its a good idea to use engine flush or should i just change the oil normally??

Personally i have never used flush but i change my oil twice a year which equates to 2k miles per oil change. My oil comes out looking new which is how i like it. Just get the engine nice and hot before draining. This will get the oil thin and it will flow out better. I believe most modern quality oils have detergents in them making flushing a thing of the past.
I can't really advise you on flush as i have no personal experience with it.

No need for full synth in na car, just wasting money. A decent semi synth will be more than up to the job

and skip the flush

Its probably true that a fully synth is not needed but its also true to say it is better than a semi and on the grand scale of scooby running costs not much dearer.
